This is a lovely M1942 machete manufactured by the Ontario Knife Company. The machete has a rough pitted blade which is marked U. S. ONTARIO KNIFE CO.. The hard plastic grips are in good service worn condition with some material loss. The original scabbard is marked U. S. on the throat, and on the reverse with B. M. CO. 1959. The machete is in fair overall condition. Comes ready for further research and display!
