Canon, St. Emilion 2004 California dried red fruits93 CellarTracker This bottle showed remarkably well. Mild bricking with aromatic nose of old library, leather and tobacco. Not the weightiest on the palate but still with cool dark fruit with minimal prune notes and no roasted effect. The finish was medium, balanced and soft. It was a quintessential Bordeaux to show a few friends what aged wine is like. Quite a bit of sediment in the bottle by the end, so stand and decant. Lost a little steam on day
