Salvia Smokey Jazz PP 33224 Perennial Plant of the Year This uniquely-colored Doyle Smittle hybridSalvia 'Smokey Jazz' has proven to be an outstanding new Salvia guaranitica hybrid in our trials. Unlike typical Salvia guaranitica, which gallops in the garden, this hybrid has maintained a tight clumping habit. The sturdy black stems are topped with spikes of large purple flowers, starting for us in late May.
