The cap features fold down side panels, providing ear and neck protection for the wearer. When not in use, the panels are held in place by an dual vertically arranged grey, pebbled, magnetic metal buttons on the right panel meeting analogous buttonholes on the left panel. The peak of the cap bears a trapezoid insignia with a BeVo style, silver grey SS eagle
